A Major Milestone for Sustainable Education in Thailand

PSS Powers is proud to announce the signing of a landmark agreement with Khon Kaen University for one of the largest solar energy projects ever developed on a single university campus.

This flagship project delivers a total installed capacity of 30 MWp, combining:
• Floating solar systems and a 28 MW solar farm
• Performance upgrade of an existing 2 MW solar plant
• 5 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to enhance energy stability and reliability

Real Impact at Scale
Over the project lifetime, this initiative will:
• Save KKU more than THB 3,000 million in energy costs
• Reduce 539,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to planting over 700,000 trees per year
• Strengthen KKU’s journey towards carbon neutrality and long-term energy resilience

This project represents more than a solar installation — it is a blueprint for how large institutions can accelerate the transition to clean energy while delivering measurable environmental and economic impact.

A few days ago, 400 leaders from across government, industry, and innovation walked into a ballroom. What they left with wasn’t just a panel discussion — it was a shared commitment.

At Commitment Day 2025, we didn’t just talk about Thailand’s energy transition. We witnessed it — through 55 MW of new clean energy commitments, through 296 pledges submitted to our in-house Commitment Tree, and through the quiet conversations that will shape future projects, policies, and partnerships.

I want to thank every one of you who made this day powerful: the policymakers who gave clarity, the business leaders who leaned in, and the partners who asked, “What can we build together?”

The path to 63.9 GW of new renewable capacity won’t be built alone. And that’s the point.

PSS has officially achieved the Commercial Operation Date for our 2.5 MWp solar floating project, reinforcing our commitment to driving industrial sustainability through innovative renewable energy solutions.

This project was developed for HV Fila, a large-scale manufacturing leader with over three decades of industry expertise. With a strong determination to lead in natural rubber thread production, HV Fila continues to set new benchmarks in quality and innovation. Now, with solar energy seamlessly integrated into their operations, they are taking a bold step toward a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.
