วันที่ 13 ธันวาคม 2566 บริเวณบ้านภูมิ-เพียง แม่ริมปรากฏหมอก อาจเนื่องมาจากความจริงที่ว่าอากาศเหนือผิวดินไม่เย็นพอที่จะทําให้เกิดการควบแน่น ถึงแม้ว่าดินยังมีความชื้นจากปริมาณน้ำฝนในวันที่ 9 และ 10 ธันวาคม 2566 รวมทั้งปริมาณน้ำจากร่องน้ำของสวนดอกไม้โดยรอบ
ในทางกลับกัน ในเช้าวันที่ 14 ธันวาคม 2566 หมอกปรากฏขึ้นอีกครั้งและมีความหนาแน่นมากกว่าวันที่ 12 ธันวาคม 2566 ซึ่งอาจเป็นผลมาจากอุณหภูมิอากาศที่เย็นเพียงพอเหนือผิวดิน ประกอบกับ เมื่อวันที่ 13 ธันวาคม 2566 เจ้าหน้าที่ยังอนุญาตให้มีการเผาในพื้นที่ระหว่างเวลา 15.00 ถึง 17.00 น.ได้ จึงทำให้เกิดการกระจายตัวของฝุ่นละอองในอากาศทั่วทั้งพื้นที่ ส่งผลให้ฝุ่นละอองเป็นแกนให้ไอน้ำในอากาศควบแน่นได้ดีขึ้น
