บริษัท ซีเค พาวเวอร์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ("บริษัท" หรือ "CKP") จดทะเบียนก่อตั้งเป็นบริษัทจำกัด เมื่อวันที่ 8 มิถุนายน 2554 ต่อมาได้จดทะเบียนแปรสภาพเป็นบริษัทมหาชนจำกัด เมื่อวันที่ 6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2556 และในวันที่ 18 กรกฏาคม 2556 บริษัทได้ทำการเข้าซื้อขายในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย (ตลท.)
บริษัทก่อตั้งโดยกลุ่มบริษัท ช.การช่าง จำกัด ("CK") โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้เป็นบริษัทแกนนำของกลุ่มบริษัทที่มุ่งเน้นก
ารลงทุนในธุรกิจผลิตและจำหน่ายไฟฟ้าจากพลังงานประเภทต่างๆ ซึ่งประกอบธุรกิจหลักโดยการถือหุ้นในบริษัทอื่น (Holding Company) ที่ประกอบธุรกิจหลักในการผลิตและจำหน่ายไฟฟ้าจากพลังงานประเภทต่างๆ บริษัทมีรายได้หลักจากเงินปันผลที่ได้รับจากการลงทุนถือหุ้นในบริษัทย่อยและบริษัทร่วม
CK Power Public Company Limited (the "Company" or "CKP") registered its incorporation as a limited company on June 8, 2011, converted into a public limited company on February 6, 2013, and started trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on July 18, 2013. Karnchang Public Company Limited ("CK"), with the objective to have the Company become the center of those companies focusing on investment in the business of production and distribution of electricity generated from various typesof energy sources. The Company operates its core business as a holding company by holding shares in other companies engaging in corebusiness of production and distribution of electricity generated from various typesof energy. The Company's core revenue is derived from dividends from investment by holding shares in its subsidiaries and associated companies.
