เคยสงสัยไหมว่า ทำไมแอปหนึ่งถึงสามารถสื่อสารและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลกับอีกระบบหนึ่งได้?
เบื้องหลังการล็อกอินผ่าน Google การสั่งอาหารผ่านแอป หรือการชำระเงินออนไลน์ ล้วนมีเทคโนโลยีที่ช่วยให้ระบบต่าง ๆ ทำงานร่วมกันได้อย่างราบรื่น นั่นคือ API (Application Programming Interface) พูดง่าย ๆ API คือ “จุดเชื่อมต่อระหว่างระบบ” ที่ช่วยให้ซอฟต์แวร์สามารถสื่อสาร แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล หรือเรียกใช้ฟังก์ชันของกันและกันได้ โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องเปิดเผยโครงสร้างทั้งหมดของระบบ ลองนึกภาพ API เหมือน “พนักงานรับออเดอร์” ในร้านอาหาร เราไม่จำเป็นต้องเข้าไปในครัว เพียงสั่งสิ่งที่ต้องการผ่านช่องทางที่กำหนด และระบบก็จะส่งผลลัพธ์กลับมาให้เรา
ในโลกของ FinTech และ Digital Technology API จึงมีบทบาทสำคัญในการเชื่อมต่อ Customer Data, Payment Systems, Cloud, Data Analytics และ AI เข้าด้วยกัน แต่การเชื่อมต่อเพียงอย่างเดียวไม่เพียงพอ API ที่ดีต้องคำนึงถึง Security, Authentication และ Authorization เพื่อให้ข้อมูลถูกเข้าถึงและส่งต่อเฉพาะระบบหรือผู้ที่ได้รับอนุญาต เพราะยิ่ง Digital Ecosystem เชื่อมต่อกันมากขึ้น การออกแบบ API ให้ มีประสิทธิภาพและปลอดภัย ก็ยิ่งสำคัญ

Ever wondered how one app can communicate and exchange data with another system?
From signing in with Google to ordering food and making digital payments, countless interactions happen behind the scenes through APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). Simply put, an API is a “connection point between systems” that allows software to communicate, exchange data, or access specific functions without exposing an entire system.
In FinTech and Digital Technology, APIs connect systems such as Customer Data, Payments, Cloud, Data Analytics, and AI.
But connectivity alone isn't enough. Good API design also requires Security, Authentication, and Authorization to ensure data is accessed only by authorized systems and users.
As digital ecosystems become more connected, building APIs that are efficient and secure becomes increasingly important.

Trusted Data Builds Trusted AI: ทำไม Data Quality จึงสำคัญในยุค Generative AI
เมื่อองค์กรนำ Generative AI มาใช้งาน คำถามที่มักเกิดขึ้นคือ “ควรเลือก AI Model ตัวไหนดี?” หรือ “ทำอย่างไรให้ AI ให้ผลลัพธ์ได้ดีขึ้น?”
