Baan Suan is Thai words means home orchard. Cum is father name and Poon is mother name. The parents are pioneer to deforest the land so using their names.

This place is an orchard but also HOME. We had moved from Bangkok since Feb, 2011 just for staying near to the GREEN and plant what we like to eat. We are going to plant more forest trees and hope soon our home will become ORCHARD FOREST with more cooling air. When we bought the orchard mainly it had Rambutans and Mangosteens with some Longkongs, Coconut and Santol. Because of our dream is to plan

t what we like to eat and eat what we plant therefore we start planting more fruits e.g. Banana, Papaya, Jackfruit, Java apple, Sugar apple, Guava, Star fruit, Mango, Sapodilla, Longan, Lychee, Tangerine, Pummelo, Pineapple, Passion fruit, Dragon fruit, Malay apple and basic vegetables especially herbs which are daily used for cooking. We also raise few animals e.g. Fish, Duck, Chicken, Fog and of course, two dogs. Our daily activities are started from bringing the dogs to walk before feeding other animals and then our morning coffee. After that we walk around the orchard and see what need to be improved. We do what we like and rest as we want. After lunch we rest at home and take a nap sometimes until late afternoon animal feeding time starts again and followed by our dinner. Basically we spend our whole day in the orchard which it is HOME. We are so happy to see our family, close relatives and friends visiting us from time to time.
