Organics is working with Northumbrian Water under an innovation programme operated by Ofwat, the UK Water Sector Regulator to design and install an ammonia recovery pilot plant near Newcastle upon Tyne in NE england.
The ammonia recovery system will treat return liqors from a Cmbi THP facility and is a first for the UK water sector and is planned to be installed within the next few weeks.
