Lingual Orthodontic Lab techniques...

Our technical director Peter Sheffield has been doing the Lingual lab work since May 2004 after he studied at Dr Fillion's Paris lab for 2 weeks. Later another 2 weeks in 2005 and ever since has been innovating not just the instruments to make the work easier, but also the lab techniques. He never stops looking at ways to improve and is the inventor of the “IN-tendo" lab system for precise indirect bonding techniques, both for Lingual and Labial orthodontics. Peter has been attending seminars and meetings for this subject on a regular basis since the first ever WSLO in New York 2006. Also he has taken part in courses by prominent Lingual Orthodontists and in the last 7 years been sharing his experience with others who want to learn. The lab has concentrated the last 6 years solely on Lingual and labial IDB work thus making it our specialty.

We have worked for Dr’s from all over the world and our lab has done thousands of Lingual cases using various techniques, but mainly since 2012 doing the ‘IN-tendo’ Hybrid technique using the T.T.S and B.P.I ( Formerly TAD and BPD ) instruments, so our technicians have the most experience bonding this way. We have given many training courses to Dr’s, Professors and Technicians who wish to learn our techniques so they can do it themselves with ‘in-house’ labs, or some just want to expand there knowledge of the lab side to better understand the whole sphere of Lingual Orthodontics. Peter also gives courses on location for either big seminars or small companies.
