Aktif Substation Solutions

What happens when your grid, plant or energy project needs power before the fixed substation is ready?

Delayed energisation, insufficient capacity, complex site work and harsh operating conditions can postpone commissioning, restrict production and increase continuity risks.

Our new bulletin presents one integrated substation portfolio built around four principles:

⚡ Fast — supporting quicker deployment and energization
🔄 Flexible — adapting to different capacities, sites and project needs
🛡️ Safe — engineered around applicable standards and operating requirements
🏗️ Site-Ready — reducing fragmented installation and on-site integration work

The portfolio includes:

🔹 SMS Mobile Substations — up to 245 kV, with project-specific configurations up to 60 MVA
🔹 SCK Compact Substations / E-House — factory-integrated structures with segregated rooms and Zone 2 options for Oil & Gas
🔹 SMK Monoblock Concrete Kiosks — up to 40.5 kV and 1600 kVA
🔹 SPK Prefabricated Concrete Kiosks — up to 2500 kVA, 3150 A, 40 kA and project-specific layouts up to 30,000 mm

Discover how the right substation architecture can support faster deployment, stronger continuity and long-term project flexibility.

In critical medical rooms, electrical safety is not only about keeping the power on.

It is also about making risks visible, giving technical teams actionable information, and supporting clinical continuity when an insulation fault occurs.

That is why we prepared this case scenario.

What does the scenario show?

It explains how a medical IT system architecture can help transform a hidden insulation fault into a monitored, traceable, and manageable event — without immediately interrupting critical operation.

Why does it matter?

For hospital project teams, consultants, technical services, and healthcare infrastructure planners, this scenario offers a practical view of why the following elements should be considered together:

🔹 Power continuity
🔹 Fault visibility
🔹 Alarm monitoring
🔹 Faster maintenance response
🔹 Safer risk management in Group 2 medical locations

A well-designed Medical Power System does more than supply energy.

It supports:
• safer operation
• clearer technical response
• better room availability
• more controlled risk management

Swipe through the scenario to see how the process works step by step.

📢 Aktif Elektroteknik successfully completes FAT for Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme K-IV PS-01 & PS-2 Project in Pakistan.

Aktif Elektroteknik has successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for 4 sets of SME CC Metal Enclosed Capacitor Banks, delivered for this prestigious infrastructure project.

📍Overview

This FAT covers SME CC Metal Enclosed Capacitor Banks designed for medium-voltage power quality applications. These capacitor banks support reactive power compensation and reliable operation in demanding power distribution infrastructures.

Project Location: Pakistan
FAT Date: 07.04.2026

⚙️ Product Details Brief
SME CC Metal Enclosed Capacitor Banks are engineered to improve power quality in medium-voltage networks with configurable step operation and filter system options.

🧪 Testing Standards & Compliance
All FAT procedures were performed in line with IEC-aligned routine verification. The programme included voltage withstand verification, operation cycle checks, control panel functionality, communication protocol checks, galvanisation quality inspection, dimensional verification, and visual/workmanship checks.

These tests verify that the equipment meets project requirements before delivery and supports reliable field performance.

We thank everyone involved for their cooperation throughout the FAT process.

How well does your medical room architecture connect power continuity, fault visibility, and room control?

In critical medical rooms, the strongest system approach is not about adding more separate devices. It is about creating a room-level architecture where protected power supply, fault detection, alarm visibility, and clinical room control work together.

In this post, we focus on three key points that hospital project teams, electrical engineers, and technical operators should keep in mind:

🔹 Why medical power systems work best when understood in connected layers
🔹 Why fault visibility is part of continuity — not just an additional alarm function
🔹 Why operating room control belongs in the system story, but not as a substitute for protection

🔖 Save this as a quick reference for packaged-system discussions, hospital design coordination, and project planning.

Sustainable healthcare starts with power architecture that reduces disruptions and waste at the source.

In Group 2 medical locations, the first insulation fault should not stop the room. It should trigger a clear alarm, support fault visibility, and allow care to continue while the fault is managed.

This WiTPU content explores how Medical Power Systems & Control Panels support continuity, correct zoning, fast fault localisation, and efficient clinical operations.

✅ Fewer disruptions.
✅ Less repeated intervention.
✅ Lower technical losses.
✅ Longer asset lifetime.
✅ Higher resource and energy efficiency.

🌱 Reliable power architecture is part of sustainable care.

New PDF Bulletin | Medical Power Systems & Control Panels

Can your operating room keep critical devices running while your team is still locating the fault?

In critical medical areas, power continuity is not only a technical requirement — it is part of patient safety, clinical workflow, and operational reliability.

Our new PDF Bulletin explores how Aktif Elektroteknik Medical Power Systems & Control Panels support critical medical environments through an integrated infrastructure approach:

🔹 Safe — supporting patient, staff, and sensitive equipment protection
🔹 Continuous — helping critical loads remain energized during the first insulation fault
🔹 Visible — making insulation faults, alarms, and fault locations easier to monitor
🔹 Controlled — centralising operating room functions through advanced control panels
From Medical Isolated Power Panels and Medical Isolating Transformers to Insulation Monitoring Devices, Fault Location Systems, Alarm Panels, Hospital Monitoring Interfaces, and Operating Room Control Panels, this bulletin explains how each layer contributes to safer and more resilient critical-room infrastructure.
