ÖZATA SHIPYARD

ÖZATA Shipbuilding was founded in 1990 to carry out steel and piping works in new buildings and repair ships. ÖZATA Shipbuilding continued its activities in various shipyards at the TUZLA shipyards zone until 2003. Later, the founder of the company, Mr. Özdemir ATASEVEN decided to use this experience and knowledge for his own yard and started to contact with the government authorit

ies for the new investment at Altınova area in Yalova. The authorization period was completed in 2005 and the investment has started on 46.000 square meter area. Simultaneously, the operation was ongoing in building up sections for several kinds of ships in Tuzla area. Özata Shipyard has also delivered fully equipped and furnished yachts, mega yachts, aluminum boats and passenger boats during this period.

Özata Shipyard which has 2000 meter square top-notch indoors facilities for controlled production of composite boats and 20.000 ton annual steel processing capacity. Capable of building yachts and ferries up to 45m and vessels up to 30.000 DWT. All the manufacturing processes are according the international standards and classification rules. Özata Shipyard is regulated by the ISO standards 9001-14001-18001 and earlier delivered vessels in good cooperation with major IACS members like DNV-RINA and BV.

With a length of 76.85 metres and a beam of 15.80 metres, Misterøy has a capacity of 202 passengers and 60 vehicles.
Powered by a 2 × 980 kWh battery system, the vessel is designed to contribute to cleaner, quieter and more sustainable transportation at sea.
Seeing Misterøy underway is another proud milestone for Özata Shipyard and another step towards the future of sustainable maritime mobility.

A successful project built on strong technical collaboration.

We are pleased to have completed the repair project of M/T CHEM HELEN, a Greek vessel managed technically by Executive Ship Management.
Throughout the project, our teams worked closely with the Technical Management team to coordinate the required works and ensure a smooth and efficient repair process. From planning to completion, close communication, technical expertise, and attention to detail were at the heart of the project.

We are proud to have contributed to M/T CHEM HELEN’s return to service and look forward to welcoming her back to Özata Shipyard in the future.

Yunanistan bayraklı M/T CHEM HELEN gemisinin, Executive Ship Management Teknik Yönetimi ile yürüttüğümüz bakım ve onarım projesini başarıyla tamamladık.
Proje boyunca ekiplerimiz, gerekli çalışmaların koordinasyonu ve sürecin sorunsuz ilerlemesi için teknik ekibiyle yakın iş birliği içerisinde çalıştı.
