DEFY LAUNCHES TECHPRO IN SOUTH AFRICA
Defy has launched the TECHPRO Programme in South Africa, marking a key step in building future-ready manufacturing capability. Delivered in partnership with Beko and TWIMS, the programme combines global expertise with local insight, aligned to internationally recognised frameworks from Koç University and tailored for the local context.
Hosted at TWIMS in Durban, the initiative reflects strong collaboration between global and local teams and focuses on scalable skills development across the organisation.
As part of Defy’s Ignite 2026 vision, TECHPRO aims to strengthen technical excellence, drive innovation, and support long-term capability growth.

Three years of connection. Three years of growth. Three years of women rising together.
Since 2023, Rising Together Program has been creating a global sisterhood that empowers women to strengthen their leadership, expand their visibility, and build meaningful connections across Beko.
Through leadership sessions, circle conversations, networking and experience sharing sessions, the program continues to create spaces where women learn from each other, inspire one another, and grow together.
In 2026, 51 women joined this journey, contributing 824.5 hours of development. Together, Rising Together has reached 392 women across 25 countries, creating 5,593.5 hours of leadership development experiences.

The 37th Koç Group Sports Festival was a true testament to the power of our global community. Beyond the thrill of competition, it was an incredible experience to see colleagues from all over the world unite as one Beko team, celebrating our shared culture and strengthening our bonds.
And the results were just as extraordinary as the teamwork! We proudly secured 41 podium finishes across 20 sports and 39 categories. From the football pitch to the swimming pool, the collaboration, passion, and drive our people bring to the workplace every day translated perfectly into sportsmanship on the field.
Congratulations to everyone who represented Beko with such outstanding energy. Here’s to winning together, across borders and beyond the game!💙💪

We were delighted to welcome MBA students from Sussex Business School to our Sütlüce Headquarters.

Throughout the day, participants worked on a business case focused on Beko’s global growth strategy, collaborating closely with our Strategy team to explore opportunities, challenges, and innovative approaches for sustainable international growth. Bringing together diverse industry backgrounds and experiences, the students contributed valuable insights and fresh perspectives through engaging discussions and solution development.

The visit concluded with a networking cocktail on our terrace, where participants had the opportunity to connect with our leaders, including our Human resources Executive Director, exchange ideas, and continue meaningful conversations in a more informal setting.

It was inspiring to see such talented professionals challenge assumptions, share their expertise, and contribute to discussions around global business growth and transformation.
