He currently serves as General Manager for Africa at Lockton MENA, where he is responsible for driving growth, strengthening regional partnerships, and leading reinsurance strategy across the African market.
Throughout his career, Fady has held key leadership roles in major international insurance organizations, including American International Group (AIG), where he contributed to reinsurance development and regional management across Francophone and Arab Africa. Based in Morocco, he has played a pivotal role in expanding insurance and reinsurance activities across the continent, supporting clients with tailored risk solutions and fostering long-term partnerships in diverse and complex markets.

Mr. Fahed Fawal is Vice President of Privacy & Cyber Risk Advisory at Lockton MENA based out of Dubai. He leads the firm’s Privacy and Cyber Risk Advisory practice in the region, supporting clients in mitigating cyber threats, improving security posture, and aligning risk management strategies with the fast-changing cyber insurance market.
Before joining Lockton, Fahed served as Cyber Risk Advisor at AIG in both Paris and Dubai, where he led cyber insurance technical advisory for major markets including France, Belgium, and the GCC/North Africa. In these roles, he partnered directly with CISOs of leading organizations, provided in-depth technical assessments for large insurance programs, and developed insights on ransomware threat actors, incident response, and emerging security technologies. His work directly influenced underwriting strategies and clients’ long-term cyber resilience.

Established by Ministerial order No. 227 in 1999, the chamber's mission is to create a balance among different industry players, aligned with Egypt’s national vision of promoting digital transformation and strengthening the country's global presence in the IT sector.

The CIT works to unify efforts between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, local and international companies, and developmental associations.
