Acquired by LCC in 2007 as part of the WFI European Operations purchase, LCC Turkey represents an established presence in the EMEA region. In 1999, then under the name WFI Telekom, the office provided engineering support to Siemens for the 3rd and 4th 2G License project in 1999. This support evolved into a strategic partnership to plan, roll-out and optimize the Aria Network. In 2002 LCC Turkey pa
rtnered with Nortel Networks in the planning, optimization and roll-out of the Aycell 2G Network. Following the merger of Aria and Aycell, the office was selected as Avea’s Planning and Optimization. Today LCC Turkey is very active providing Planning, Optimization, benchmarking and 3G consultancy services to the major Turkish GSM Operators in Turkey.
