The issue of cleanliness is an important issue for all of us and among the industries that pay more attention to sterilization and high cleanliness are the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry.
From an environmental ecological point of view.
What are green cleaners?
Ecological cleaning agents are based on the use of natural components only and do not contain ammonia, chlorine, chemical fuel compounds and other components that are harmful to the skin, the respiratory system and the environment. Those cleaning agents have a unique composition that does not endanger health, unlike cleaning agents that are produced with the use of chemical components. We all know the smell of deadly bleach in public toilets and even in our own home. Although these strong products clean effectively, they are deadly to the respiratory system and also to the skin and may encourage the formation of infections, inflammations and various skin diseases. The transition to the use of green cleaning agents is a transition that is being carried out gradually, more and more business owners, factories and organizations are moving to use environmentally friendly cleaning agents, these are made from quality materials that are not harmful.
Ecological cleaning materials - advantages
Do not contain synthetic chemicals and toxins.
Maintain the ecological balance.
Maintain health.
Disintegrate quickly after use.
help prevent infection.
Allows you to save water.
Greases for industry, grease remover intended for the pharmaceutical and food industry, a series of products for cleaning stubborn scale, rust remover and more. The company aims to provide more and more customers in Turkey with cleaning materials based on natural ingredients such as citrus peels, lemon extracts and more, with an emphasis on pleasant textures, easy and simple cleaning without harmful petroleum distillates.
Ecological product benefits, efficiency and safety of the product
A green product based on natural-organic components, non-toxic and biodegradable. For example: natural minerals, pure vegetable oils and hydrogen peroxide which are not harmful. A green product is a product with a green standard mark awarded to green products by the Türk Standards Institute and the Ministry of the Environment for products whose impact on the environment is less, the material should improve energy efficiency, be environmentally friendly and reusable.
The main advantages of the green product are many. First, the product does not pose a health risk and in the process of its production it is not tested on animals. In addition, the product is environmentally friendly and its packaging process is also green. The green material biodegrades after its use and thus does not leave a contaminated area. The product is based on a natural material combined with modern technologies, it is free of chemicals such as caustic soda and petroleum distillates, which makes it safe to use. The material is concentrated and can be diluted with water, so it is possible to produce more material for use and save costs. The active ingredients in green materials will usually contain a significantly lower level of toxicity than conventional equivalent cleaning agents and will therefore be safer during use and storage. The material breaks down fully biologically into the environment, the materials break down into the natural environment quickly and without leaving residues that the environment is unable to digest.
The green product does not contain chemicals - there are toxic natural substances such as borax (base material), or cyanide. It is important that the cleaning materials are not toxic to the skin and body tissues. Non-toxicity is especially important when it comes to children and pregnant women who are more sensitive to toxins. For example, the various dishwashing liquids and degreasers found in every home are based on components such as sulfur, benzene and SLS. The origin of the first two is in oil. Benzene is one of the few substances in the world that have been classified as carcinogenic for sure. The SLS is known to help the pe*******on of toxic substances into the blood circulation. These components plus the perfumes and colors present in this product and are a source of the development of allergies, skin diseases and damage to the skin of the hands. Washing with inferior detergents can leave dirt residues that can find their way into the digestive tract and cause heavy damage. At the same time, the use of detergents based on solvents, cause irreversible damage to the skin of the hands and may even be a cause of diseases. Another example is bleach, a common product found in every home in Türkiye that contains the chemical chlorine. Chlorine is a gas emitted during the use of the product. As a substitute for chlorine bleach, there are products based on active oxygen, such as bleaching powder, or on natural acids, such as the toilet and anti-scale products, whose cleaning and disinfecting capabilities are high and are an excellent substitute for bleach. The green material is also effective, cleans and disinfects thoroughly and is also safe as it does not harm contact with the skin. The substitutes are based on natural and ecological components and do not contain petroleum products, perfumes or salt, and do not contain toxic or irritating vapors. The absence of these components on the one hand and the use of components whose effect on our body is positive, significantly reduces the vulnerability and in many cases it can be proven that the symptoms of allergy, eczema and dryness disappeared for those who used these products. In addition, the green product has no toxicity to biological systems - possible
Products that contain a chemical cause damage to the user even from exposure for a short time due to the emission of vapors and particles that remain in the area of use for some time only after using them. A chemical product is produced with the aim of destroying bacteria and the substances it contains may harm those who come into contact with the substance. Frequent use of the substance may weaken our immune system and lead to allergic reactions, breathing problems, dizziness and headaches. In addition, materials that contain chemicals and are not green cause future damage to the environment. The damages caused are often irreversible, and will eventually be manifested in environmental damage which will lead to the depletion of the natural resources essential to our existence. An example of a green cleaning agent that proves its effectiveness and safety is an organic oil absorbent. In the treatment of oil spills, the use of a substance containing chemicals may cause more harm than good, since the percolation of the substance into the ground may reach the groundwater and contaminate the drinking water in the future. On the other hand, using organic oil sponges that have a high and strong absorption capacity are an effective, environmentally friendly, cheap and most importantly safe solution. Cleaning products consisting of chemical and non-green substances may cause more harm than good. In the result test, the difference in the use of the chemical substance compared to the green one is small and insignificant compared to the results of the use of the chemical substance which lead to personal and environmental damage.
The usual cleaning products on the market today are made from raw materials, most of which are harmful to the environment and our health. The common raw materials are mainly based on petroleum products, phosphors (phosphorus oxides), chlorides, aggressive inorganic acids and metals, most of which do not decompose for many years, cause respiratory damage, accumulate at the bottom of the sea and in water sources, are absorbed into the soil, pollute and cause environmental damage to life and vegetation. On the other hand, ecological cleaning agents are organic, so they biodegrade after use. The decomposition process is done in a natural process, which turns the product back into a base material whose arrival in the waste water and return to the drinking water cycle is a proper and non-polluting procedure. Despite the environmental advantage of the green products, they do not fall short in their ability to bring a high level of performance. The results of their use are positive and effective without the environmental pollution.
The use of the green substance is safer and can be used near babies and pregnant women. The active ingredients in the green product contain a very low level of poison compared to cleaning agents that contain chemicals and as a result are safe to use and store.
In conclusion, in light of everything presented above, it can be concluded that green products are effective, safe, superior to the conventional products with environmentally friendly and safe chemicals.
Third step, level of difficulty: easy-medium - switching to ecological cleaning agents: contrary to what people tend to think, ecological cleaning agents are no longer as expensive as they used to be. The growing demand led to competition, which led to lower prices and promotions. Here we introduce, in addition to the quality of the environment, self-interested considerations: our health. Most cases of dermatitis (contact dermatitis, or eczema) are caused by contact with chemical substances found in cleaning agents, most of which contain degreasing substances. These damage the fats and proteins of the skin and thus damage the natural barrier of the skin, which caused inflammation. So, contrary to what the advertisers claim, there is no cleansing agent that moisturizes the skin. A large exposure to substances occurs during the cleaning works not only by direct contact but also by breathing the air soaked in the particles of the substance.
