Gumus Uzay Savunma Havacılık Ltd. (herein after GUMUSH) was established in 2012 and is the
first pico & nano satellite design (mainly CubeSat and CanSat) and manufacturing company for
academic and civil industrial use in Turkey & Middle East Region and it is fully supported by
Turkish government. The company is R&D center of satellite subsystems and works on R&D
incentives in

Turkey. Moreover GUMUSH provides engineering services and design its own engineering products for
academic and civil industrial use. Realized several successful engineering projects and products,

As a result of our satellite's 45-day adventure in space, we have received more than a million Messages and visualized more than five hundred thousand AIS Messages by downloading them to the ground station at THK University.

Murat Suer completed his master's degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering. Since 2010, he worked in satellite projects that still ongoing in Turkey. Within the framework of the 7th Framework Program of the European Union, he took part in the studies of subsystem design, system engineering of HAVELSAT and BEAGLESAT in the QB50 project. He founded Gumush AeroSpace in 2012, which is the first startup company that focus on nano satellites in Turkey and Middle East. GUMUSH is currently working on Smallsat projects.
