YILDIRIM Group volunteers will participate in the 45th Istanbul Marathon to support the survivors of the twin earthquakes that struck Türkiye on February 6th.

This year, YILDIRIM Foundation will run for the "Blocks For Hope - 100th Year Village" project, which aims to provide sustainable living spaces for earthquake survivors in Hatay.

To enhance the impact of this project, will donate 1,000 TL to the personal campaigns to each of the 122 registered YILDIRIM volunteers.

In addition to this, the YILDIRIM Foundation will also gift each participant ‘s "Gold 100th Year Jersey" – to mark the centennial of the Turkish Republic.

We are deeply grateful to all YILDIRIM Volunteers for joining us to support the “100th Year Village” project on this momentous 100th anniversary of the Republic.

We are thrilled to share that Eti Logistics, our strategic logistics services provider in port operations and logistics integration, has signed an agreement with the Başkent Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara to create the Ankara Railway Terminal.

The signing ceremony of this groundbreaking intermodal terminal project in Türkiye took place at our Turkish HQ in Istanbul.

This state-of-the-art terminal will directly connect to all ports by rail and serve as a prime transfer center for the transportation of sea cargo inland. It will commence operations in January 2024 to provide:

- Viable solutions to the logistics needs of various industries

- Quick access to all ports across Türkiye in less than 24 hours

- Facilitated integration of companies with seaports in Türkiye and global trade

Throughout the sessions on October 24 and 25, Robert Yuksel YILDIRIM and Onur Karakaya addressed prospective engineers, exchanging views and insights about the mining sector.

As part of our sustainability efforts, we set ambitious goals to:

- Achieve Net Zero by 2050 through reducing our GHG emissions

- Build up data collection and integration for reporting and documentation to comply with the standards

- Establish a global committee and working groups focused on ESG and data collection and reporting

The “BLOCKS FOR HOPE” Project was chosen by as the cause to run for in the Istanbul Marathon. The Project aims to build a sustainable living micro-city for 1,450 earthquake survivors in Hatay named the“100th Year Village”, offering functional, safe, and practical housing areas to meet their social needs.

All inhabitants will also be provided with free public utilities such as:

-Electricity
-Water
-Natural gas
-Internet

That are resistant to disasters as they move into environmentally friendly adobe buildings.

Our YILDIRIM Group volunteers will support this project by launching fundraising campaigns and collecting donations during the 45th Istanbul Marathon, to instill hope for the future of the earthquake zone.

YILDIRIM Group volunteers have a meaningful cause to run in the 45th Istanbul Marathon this year. Their mission is to support the "Blocks For Hope - 100th Year Village" project, which aims to provide sustainable living spaces for earthquake survivors in Hatay.

Members of “Blocks For Hope”, and Sinan Güreli, as well as the President of the , , met the volunteers in a meeting held at our HQ to discuss crucial aspects of the project and the upcoming Marathon.
