Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for keeping systems running smoothly? Join RSL Group as our next IT Officer and help support the technology that powers our operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
🔹 Maintain and support the Group's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems.
🔹 Implement backup procedures and maintain robust security systems to protect company information.
🔹 Install, remove, maintain, and replace IT hardware and software as required.
🔹 Provide technical support and user training while assisting with telecommunications and other systems.
🔹 Supervise IT consultants and contractors and assist with system updates and improvements.
🔹 Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, monitor IT assets, and manage IT costs within approved budgets.
Qualifications:
✔ Five (5) O'Level/CSEC passes, including Mathematics and English.
✔ A recognized Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
✔ An equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong knowledge of IT and networking infrastructure.
• Detailed understanding of IT management tools and techniques.
• Ability to identify and respond to IT security threats.
• Experience installing and maintaining hardware and software.
• Working knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
Behavioural Competencies:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
