Alescon Readymix Limited (ARL) was founded in 1982 and began operations as a manufacturer of Readymix concrete in March 1983 at its head office in Charlieville, Chaguanas.
ο From its humble beginnings the Company has grown to become one of the premier and largest Readymix suppliers in Trinidad and Tobago. The Company now has firmly established locations in Central and East Trinidad and in Canaan
Tobago.
ο At Alescon the main focus has always been customer satisfaction, quality assurance as well as staff safety, training and development. To this end the technical competencies of employees are constantly being upgraded, with several employees attending World of Concrete (the largest international trade shows and seminars on concrete) and programs offered by the ECA (Employers Consultative Association) and the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
ο The company follows all testing methods approved under the ASTM and ACI standards for testing of inputs (aggregates etc.) To this end we have a fully equipped lab facility for in house testing as well as independent testing at CARIRI.
ο Our technical knowledge and years of experience gives us the ability to design specialized concrete mixes that are required for larger jobs. With the introduction of our mobile plants we have the ability to undertake distant and remote jobs.
