Phoenix Mountain Forest Park — Ecological Public Welfare Campaign
Phoenix Mountain Forest Park is located in Fuyong Subdistrict, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, with a total planned area of approximately 27.65 square kilometers. It was approved and established in 2006 by the Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission as a municipal-level forest park and is one of the eight key forest parks planned for construction in Shenzhen.
The main peak of Phoenix Mountain stands at 376 meters above sea level and is known as the "Number One Mountain in Bao'an." The park is characterized by the "Fengshan Blessed Water" concept, lush forests, and gentle mountain springs. It also houses the Fengyan Ancient Temple, which has a history of over 600 years, making it a popular spot for citizens to hike mountains and pray for blessings and get close to nature. However, as the number of visitors increases, there are still many white trash such as plastic bottles and food packaging bags scattered along the trails and in the grass. To protect natural ecology and promote the concept of green development, Dongguan EOI held a public welfare hiking and trash collection activity on May 23, 2026.
At 7:30 a.m. that morning, the charity team gathered at the company entrance and took a bus to their destination—Shenzhen Phoenix Mountain Forest Park. That day was sunny and bright. Although the temperature was rising, it did not diminish the colleagues' enthusiasm for public welfare. After arriving at the venue around 8 a.m., everyone took a group photo to capture the most beautiful moment!
Each colleague on site took turns picking up trash, forming pairs of two and holding garbage bags, garbage tongs, and other tools. During the hike, everyone enjoyed the beautiful forest scenery while keeping an eye out for trash along the way. Whether it was plastic bottles in the grass or plastic bags in the drainage ditches, everyone bent down to pick them up and put them into the bags.
The event also included employees' families and children, who were especially enthusiastic. The scenic area also set up a fun segment called "10 empty bottles for one bottle of water," where children competed to see who could find the most plastic bottles, competing to exchange collected empty bottles for drinking water. Through the game, they experienced the fun of recycling waste. Amid laughter and joy, children not only developed the concept of environmental protection and ecological care from a young age but also developed a love for nature.
After nearly four hours of hiking and cleanup, around noon, the team gradually returned to the park entrance. The team members packed the collected trash into bags, waiting for sanitation workers to come and remove it.
This event not only allowed our employees to exercise physically and strengthen team cohesion during mountain climbing, but more importantly, we put our environmental responsibility into practice through concrete actions. We hope that through similar activities, more people will pay attention to and participate in environmental protection. Let's make our mountains and forests more beautiful and natural!
