What if “waste” could become part of the solution? ♻️
In 2022, MINIWIZ collaborated with National Taiwan University and Kindom Construction to create an ESG Future Classroom , a space designed to rethink how sustainability, technology, and education can co-exist.
For nearly 20 years, MINIWIZ has been transforming discarded materials into innovative applications through material science and circular design — turning waste into products, interiors, modular systems, and sustainable architecture.
This project was not just about renovating a classroom.
It was about redefining what a future learning space could be.
✨ Built with recycled and upcycled materials
✨ Modular dry construction to reduce carbon emissions
✨ Low-toxicity, low-VOC installation process
✨ Antibacterial and self-cleaning surfaces
✨ Digital learning and remote teaching integration
✨ Improved acoustics and healthier indoor environments
Within less than 30 days, the space was transformed into a sustainable future classroom.
Compared to conventional construction methods, the project achieved a 22.9% carbon reduction — equivalent to saving 107 trees. Through local manufacturing and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), transportation impact and overall construction emissions were further reduced, proving that sustainability can be measurable, practical, and scalable.
We believe great interior design should not only look good,
but also respond to the environment, human health, function, and future generations.
When industry and academia collaborate,
ESG moves beyond reports — and becomes part of everyday life.
