這學期我們新增了一位雷切管理員來協助大家：
陳雨歆（大一）

同時我們也新增了一台設備：
R5000 (50W) 高速雷切機。除了原本常用的材料之外，這台機器也支援 鋁與其他金屬材料的雕刻。

本學年 雷切與3D 列印管理員仍有名額未補齊，相關名額將 保留並延至下一學年招募。

【TA Schedule】

The Laser Cutter TA schedule for this semester has been released and started on Monday (3/9).
Students can book machine time through the booking system on our website.

This semester we have one new Laser Cutter TA joining the team:
陳雨歆 (1st-year Undergrad)

We have also introduced a new machine:
the R5000 (50W) high-speed laser cutter. In addition to the materials we normally work with, this machine also supports engraving on aluminum and other metal materials.

For this academic year, both Laser Cutting and 3D Printing TA positions still have unfilled vacancies.
These positions will be carried over to the next academic year.

請注意以下重要安全事項：

基於消防安全考量，RB910 與 RB911 教室外的通道必須隨時保持淨空。通道寬度需至少維持五塊地磚寬的淨空範圍。地面上先前已貼有膠帶，用以標示需保持淨空的區域。

🚫 請勿在標示範圍內放置桌椅、設備、箱子或個人物品。

為配合上述安全規定：

所有 3D 印表機已移至 RB910。

學生仍可自由使用 Ender 系列機台。

其他標示為 僅限助教（TA）使用之機台，暫不開放學生使用。

感謝大家的配合，共同維護安全且順暢的學習環境。如有任何疑問，請洽詢實驗室工作人員。

Welcome to the start of the new semester! We’re excited to have everyone back and look forward to a productive term ahead.

Please take note of the following important safety reminder:

For fire safety reasons, the pathway outside of RB910 and RB911 must remain clear of all obstacles at all times. A minimum clearance of five floor tiles in width is required. Tape has already been placed on the floor to indicate the designated clearance area.

🚫 Do not place tables, chairs, equipment, boxes, or personal belongings within this marked zone.

To comply with this safety requirement:

1. All 3D printers have been relocated to RB910.
2. Students may continue to freely use the Ender series machines.
3. Other printers designated as TA-only machines are not available for student use.

The Mega 8KS resin printer will undergo unscheduled maintenance and will not be available until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Print services using the S4U resin printer remain available. Please plan accordingly.
Starting today, RB910 will be used by 4th-year students to store their site models until June 13th, with the exception of April 17th, when the room will be cleared for use by 2nd-year students for crits.
Only site models will be allowed to be stored in RB910. Model making materials, personal items, and the act of model making are not permitted.

【公告 Announcement】
數位工作坊已推出全新的系統與網站設計，旨在簡化預約登記流程。每學年，使用者需先透過LINE進行身份驗證並完成工坊註冊。
註冊完成後，使用者在進行預約登記時，將不再需要重複輸入學號、姓名等基本資訊，透過驗證登入後即可直接選擇並預約所需時段。
搭配LINE官方帳號機器人（），可快速連結至正確的網頁並自動完成驗證，提升整體操作的便利性與效率。
『3D代印價格調整』
為了更準確地反映管理員的工作付出，3D代印服務的計價方式進行了微調，具體變動如下：
- FDM代印：每克收費調整為0.5元 (使用者可自備線材，若自行提供線材則免收材料費)。
- 光固化代印：每克收費調整為1元 (不接受使用者自備樹脂)。
- 新增檔案檢查費用：若模型存在問題，使用者需自行修正後再提交給管理員檢查，首次檢查不收費，之後每次檢查收取15元。
- 新增機臺使用費用，每半小時收費7元。

The digital atelier has introduced a new system and website design aimed at simplifying the reservation process.
Each academic year, users are required to first verify their identity via LINE and complete account registration. Once registered, users will no longer need to repeatedly enter their student ID, name, and other basic information during the reservation process. After verification, they can directly select and book their desired time slot.
With the LINE official account bot (), users can quickly link to the correct webpage and automatically complete the verification, enhancing overall convenience and efficiency.
『3D Print Service Price Adjustment』
In order to more accurately reflect the efforts of the TAs', the pricing for 3D printing services has been adjusted as follows:
- FDM Prints: The charge has been adjusted to $0.5/g (users may provide their own filament, and if they do, no material fee will be charged).
- Resin Prints: The charge has been adjusted to $1/g (users may not provide their own resin).
- File inspection fee has been introduced: if the model has issues, users must correct them and let the TA review the file again. The first inspection is free, but subsequent inspections will incur a fee of $15 each time.
- Machine usage fee has been added, set at $7 per half hour of use.

Due to the space and equipment usage plans, after the end of the current (Fall 2024) semester, the "rental" service for 3D printers will no longer be available.
All Ender 3 series printers outside of RB910 will be switched to "self-service" without grade restrictions. Users must bring their own SD cards and filaments.
The printers inside RB910 will remain designated for "print services" and should only be operated by 3D printing TAs.
Those who have rented printers should contact the managing faculty at the end of the semester to return the printers.
Operating instructions and configuration files for the Ender series are available on the official website (https://ttda.ad.ntust.edu.tw/print3d/resources). Please ensure you are familiar with the operation and have the correct slicer settings before use.
