上週，董事長張忠傑出席「西門子電池新紀元論壇」，並與產學界代表共同參與高峰對談，交流電池製造在規模經濟下的安全議題。

本次高峰對談以鋰電池產線安全為核心，從產線建置前的規劃出發，探討如何透過模擬方法評估製程、設備與公用設施的生產安全性，協助降低潛在工安風險。

對談也進一步聚焦標準化生產流程與安全製程的關聯，包含如何整合消防系統、製程系統、工廠自動化系統，並結合 IT/OT 串聯與 AI 應用，協助建立標準化生產流程，並降低事故發生風險。同時，也探討標準化生產流程在大型化與跨國工廠部署下，可能帶來的助力、阻力與挑戰。

感謝西門子提供寶貴的產業交流平台，讓各界共同探討電池製造的安全議題，期待未來持續與產業夥伴攜手，推動更安全、穩健的鋰電池製造環境。

Last week, our Chairman, Chung-Chieh Chang, attended the Siemens Battery New Era Forum and joined a panel discussion with representatives from industry and academia, exchanging perspectives on safety challenges as battery manufacturing scales up.

Lithium battery production line safety was a key focus, particularly how simulation can be used during early-stage planning to assess the safety of processes, equipment, and utilities, helping to reduce potential workplace safety risks.

The conversation also explored how fire protection systems, process systems, and factory automation systems—together with IT/OT integration and AI applications—can be integrated to support standardized production workflows and reduce incident risks. This also opened a discussion on the benefits, barriers, and challenges of standardization in large-scale and global factory deployments.

Thank you to Siemens for providing a valuable platform for industry exchange and discussion on safety in battery manufacturing. We look forward to working with industry partners to build a safer and more resilient lithium battery manufacturing environment.
