Throwback to the Sibusiso Foundation Knowledge Centre!

Last year, ACME Construction partnered with LIAG architects and the Foundation to establish a knowledge hub at the Sibusiso grounds. Our goal? Sharing the wealth of knowledge acquired by the Sibusiso Foundation with other community-focused organizations.

Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, amidst Tanzania's breathtaking peaks, this center extends its reach to children beyond physical boundaries. Through strategic partnerships, Sibusiso enhances support for children with intellectual disabilities and their families.

At ACME, we're committed to sustainability and quality. Collaborating with international partners like Sibusiso and LIAG architects deepens our understanding of sustainable practices.

Together, we crafted a modern structure that seamlessly integrates with Tanzanian traditions. Natural materials and culturally sensitive designs define this unique center, blending tradition with modernity.

We're especially proud of the climate-conscious features – from innovative ventilation systems to spacious roof overhangs, ensuring comfort in all conditions.

Anton van Doornmalen, representing the Sibusiso board, joined us in Arusha for the project's completion. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with stakeholders praising the center's quality and functionality.

This center embodies innovation, and we're excited to continue our journey of creating impactful spaces that empower communities.

The Cabin in the Woods 🌳 or should we say the cottage, perched on the hill in Tengeru.

This quaint farmhouse/cottage is part of a series from one of our early projects. Back in 2003, we brought to life the Kikongoni Boutique Lodge.

Our aim? Creating a unique getaway with breathtaking views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro from every room.

Our founder cherished the chance to design and style the cottages just right. While the lodge isn't operational anymore, the cottages and facilities remain in top-notch condition, needing only minor renovations.
