This is how the UNI-T UT522 Digital Earth Tester is typically used in the field:
​Placement: The tester is held or placed near the grounding system.
​Driving Spikes: Auxiliary ground spikes are driven into the soil at set distances from the ground electrode being tested.
​Connections:
​The Green lead is connected to the ground electrode using the green clamp.
​The Yellow lead is connected to the middle auxiliary spike.
​The Red lead is connected to the furthest auxiliary spike.
​Testing: The function switch is set to the desired resistance range, and the test button is pressed to get a reading on the display, as shown here with the device active at 12.35 Ω.

​Drilling Large Diameter Holes: They are designed to cut large holes in steel and other metals much faster and more efficiently than standard twist drills.

​Reduced Power Consumption: Because they remove less material (only the edge), they require less machine power and thrust to operate compared to traditional drill bits.
​Ideal for Heavy Metalwork: They are commonly used on magnetic drills (mag drills) for structural steel, pipes, plates, and beams in construction sites
