Natural Selection Mining Limited Processing Plant Construction Update

Construction work continues on Natural Selection Mining Limited’s gold processing plant in Tanzania. ⛏️🌍

The plant is designed with a processing capacity of 1,500 tonnes per day, using the Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP) process for gold recovery.

The main processing flow includes:

Crushing & Screening
Ore is prepared through crushing and screening before entering the grinding stage.

Grinding & Classification
The ore is ground to the required fineness to support better mineral liberation and downstream recovery.

Cyanide Leaching & Carbon Adsorption
The slurry enters the leaching and adsorption stage, where gold is dissolved and adsorbed by activated carbon.

Desorption, Electrowinning & Smelting
Gold-loaded carbon is processed through desorption and electrowinning, followed by smelting to produce gold doré.

Carbon Regeneration & Tailings Management
Activated carbon is regenerated for reuse, while tailings and process water are managed through a controlled recovery and recycling system.
