Glass panels are widely used in architecture and construction. Could have different characteristics and application:
- Heat-toughened glass is strengthened through slow heating and cooling;
- Tempered glass is heated, then quickly cooled, making it four times stronger;
- Laminated glass includes sheets of another material (Sklo+Glas works with PVB).

Different glass types and production techniques confer varying properties and characteristics to the panels. They can be fireproof, insulating, non-slip (for floors), non-reflecting, curved, decorative, colored, enameled, lacquered, printed and satin finish, among other characteristics.
