PARAMETRI Q DEBUT

A new innovative series of houses PARAMETRI Q was presented this weekend at the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition AGROEXPO-2020 in Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovograd).

“Innovative building technologies, 4 weeks for assembly, an on-board computer for home control, laconic Scandinavian design, factory warranty, additional options - we keep up with the times,” says Roman Gavryushenko, director of the QHome group of companies.

The design of the house Q contains many interesting features: over time, you can buy a visor, a terrace, an awning, a carport, there are special mortgages for connecting a second module and a place for installing a fireplace. Buyers can build their own Q home like a Lego.

The series includes cottages of different sizes: 30 m², 34 m², 42 m², 50 m², 64 m², 100 m².

The PARAMETRI Q series of mini-cottages was developed as part of a joint project of the QHome group of companies and the Odessa construction company "Svoy Dom".

LET'S TALK ABOUT FIBER CEMENT?

One of the leaders in the modern building materials market is fiber cement. For over 100 years, it has been used by architects for facade cladding, roofing, and interior decoration. This wonderful material is used not only for construction, but alsoinspiring designers and artists. Such as Pablo Picasso and Max Ernst, who wrote many of their masterpieces on fiber cement.

The main advantage of this material is its technical characteristics.

Fiber cement advantages:

✅Reliability and strength (thanks to fibrous cellulose in combination with cement);
✅Moisture resistance (the installation design excludes the accumulation of condensate, which means it doesn't rot);
✅Minimum heat transfer (has high heat retention rates, which is the main point for energy efficient houses);
✅Resistant to temperature changes;
✅Possibility of installation at any time of the year;
✅Doesn't absorb dirt (under the influence of certain substances, it's washed off with the rain);
✅Durability (service life up to 50 years);
✅Fire resistance;
✅Environmentally friendly;
✅Aesthetic appearance;
✅Variety of textures, colors and sizes (you can realize your most daring architectural ideas).

A reliable, durable and stylish material, fiber cement will remain relevant in construction and architecture in the next few decades. Due to its versatility, it is widely used around the world in different architectural styles and for the construction of various types of buildings🏠.

QHome is no exception. In our projects we are happy to use fiber cement panels, combining their color and sizes.

RELIABLE AS A ROCK

What is still most valued in today's unpredictable and volatile world?

Of course, reliability!

When designing the QHomeSMART series of mini-houses, our architects took care of their strength by providing a welded metal frame as a supporting structure. It provides such a high level of structual strength and reliability that our mini-houses can be safely installed even in seismically hazardous areas.

What are the advantages of houses with a metal frame?
💪 The strength of the metal structure avoids distortions, shrinkage, which means saving on repairs.
💪Unlike wooden structures, the metal frame allows large openings in the walls and spans of floors.
💪 Houses built using a metal frame are durable, their service life is estimated at 100 years.
💪The roof can be made operational by equipping it with a winter garden or a barbecue area.
💪The metal frame is not subject to the damaging effects of bugs, fungi and moisture.
💪Lightweight design means also a lightweight and inexpensive foundation.

The metal frame, environmentally friendly insulation and modern finishing materials have made our QHomeSMART series houses safe and reliable.

Rest assured of tomorrow with our new QHOMESMART series!

LET'S GO!

Our garden eco-house of the QHomeSMART series has arrived to unique "Dobropark" landscape park. This is the first house that was installed in the campsite of the new arboretum near Kiev. It is a part of a joint project of MK "Building" and the public organization Folk Ukraine, which is led by Igor Dobrutsky.

"Dobropark" is a new modern arboretum with an area equal of 400 football fields. It is planned that the park will have many locations with plants: a garden of petunias and tulips, lavender fields, lakes with water lilies, as well as a camping town, food court, a festival area and a children's area with dinosaurs.

As part of the project, it is planned to install 50 garden houses of the QHomeSMART series in the campsite, in which it will be possible to accommodate the whole family or a big fun company.

The cozy country house has a living room, 2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom and a small entrance hall. Scandinavian minimalistic design, thoughtful planning, panoramic windows - we did everything to be in harmony with nature. And the tireless creators of the amazing "Dobropark" park are taking care of its beauty!

ARCHITECTURAL LOOKING GLASS

Alice laughed.
- This will not help! - she said. - You cannot believe the impossible.
- You just had no experience, - said the Queen. - At your age, I spent half an hour every day on this. On other days, I managed to believe in a dozen impossibilities before breakfast.

Who would have thought some 100 years ago that mirrors would decorate not only the walls of living rooms and hallways, but also the facades of houses. Mirror panels are no longer new in modern architecture. They are used not only in cottage construction, but for multi-story urban buildings. Mirror facades look especially magical on houses surrounded by a natural landscape, blurring the line between the natural world and the house.
Welcome to Through the Looking Glass!

MIRACULOUS “ACCORDEON-HOUSE”: DESIGN TRICK VS SWEDISH ECOLOGICAL CONSTRUCTION NORMS

This amazing home in the spirit of organic architecture was built as a response to Swedish building regulations. Architects Maartier Lammers and Boris Zeisser from the 24H Architecture studio in Rotterdam bought the end of the 19th century on the banks of Lake Evre-Gla in the Glaskogen Nature Reserve for family vacations. But the plot turned out to be with a catch: it is forbidden to conduct active construction on it. The old summer house was forbidden to be demolished, allowing only to increase its area. At the same time, it was categorically not allowed to cut down at least one tree, much less touch a stream flowing through the site.

Architects added a 30-meter extension to the old hut to circumvent local regulations that prohibit the construction of new buildings and foundations along the coastline. But what an interesting one! It has a complex biomorphic frame, because of which the interior resembles either a cave or a hollow. Although the authors named their brainchild "Accordion House", it nevertheless more closely resembles a large lizard - scaly, benevolent, but fearful and at the slightest danger ready to draw its head in.

The most amazing thing in the house is that one of the rooms slides out thanks to a special mechanism. At its base is a sturdy steel frame that moves on the rollers. When the room is pulled out, it hangs right above the stream. If the structure does not touch the ground, then it is not subject to regulation. Here is such a design trick! Thus, the designers won their 16 additional squaremeters. For the winter, this house is folded, pushing the room inward, due to which the walls become double thickness, which is very practical from the point of view of heat saving.

P.S. QHome modular houses have not yet provided for a zoomorphic façade shape with a sliding roller room, but our houses can still be built in coastal areas. Due to the technology features, the building can be designed as an object of temporary construction, which does not require special permits and can be installed on the banks of a river, sea or in a conservation area.

From MINI to MICRO:
GLOBAL TRENDS IN INDIVIDUAL HOUSING CONSTRUCTION

In the developed megacities around the World, the area of small-sized apartments is constantly decreasing, and their cost is growing steadily and has reached sky-high heights. The younger generation found themselves in needs to take loans and work for several decades to be able to afford "roof over their heads." These circumstances gave a powerful impetus to the development of the Tiny House market.

Today, small dwellings with an area of 10-25 square meters do not surprise anyone. The size of which can significantly save money and provide minimal comfort. For example, in Australia and New Zealand, the popularity of 22 square-meter houses is steadily growing. If in the near future the situation on the global housing market does not fundamentally change, then the demand for small dwellings will grow rapidly.

Responding to market demands, Singapore-based Nestron launched the Cube One series of smart and indestructible futuristic houses. This reliable "Life Capsule" with an area of 14.5 square meters is equipped with everything necessary up to furniture and is able to withstand earthquakes up to 9 points and typhoons of the 12th level.

Why is Nestron Cube One so interesting?
Firstly, the Cube One house very accurately falls into a certain “middle ground”: it will be convenient to live in the house both for single people and married couples without children. In this case, the option from Nestron includes all the necessary equipment and furniture, up to the air conditioner, TV and audio system.
Secondly, the “living capsule” is offered at a very competitive price - the basic option “all inclusive” costs $ 30 thousand, which is near to the cost of a “regular car”.
Thirdly, the metal house Cube One is positioned as “indestructible”, because it is designed to withstand almost any climate and natural disasters.
This house does not require a foundation for the installation of a fairly flat area. The futuristic home is positioned as a “smart home” with an advanced voice control system to configure most of the “capsule” parameters.

The new model is primarily focused on the Asian market, because after expensive and cramped residential apartments and rooms of 5-7 square meters, your own budget house of this size will be quite comfortable "mansion".
