Non-synth: no pre-programmed envelopes!
Arrakis is a compact, fully analog (even oscilloscope) modular (non-)synthesizer with a wide range of live controls. You will inevitably develop your own style of play, because its performer's interface has assignable Velocity, Aftertouch, Modulation parameters and even allows you to connect ANY modular synthesizer to ANY MIDI controller, computer or sequencer! Out of the box! Arrakis can become a light-controlled one. With an external optical sensor it turns into an electronic musical instrument that combines analog synthesis and optical theremin. It’s thick timbre grows from the legendary 3340 VCO, it has a noise source, original filter and distorting amplifier and even a real spring reverb tank onboard! Designed specifically for spectacular live performance: ADSRs are absent, but clocked LFO modulation can be directed anywhere or everywhere instead. Let the spice flow!
