Ось так виглядає втрата енергії з віком (зменшується кількість АТФ і росте кількість АМФ). Цікаво, що ефективність продукування енергії з віком сильно падає - і ми переходимо до древнього анаеробного механізму (2 молекули ATP замість 36).

Розвиток міжнародних звязків - запорука процвітання науки та технології. Керівництво інституту геронтології ім. Д.Ф. Чеботарьова та представники Geron, взяли участь в україно-китайському семінарі з питань клітинних технології для регенерації та омолодження в рамках программи "Пояс і Шлях". На семінарі гості з України ознайомлювали китайських товаришів з найсучаснішими уявленнями про механізми старіння, сучасні тренди у анти-ейджінгу, та успіхи розвитку клітинних технологій нашої лабораторії. Прийом делегації у місті Шеньян відбувався на найвищому рівні. Базою для проведення стала клінічна лікарня 3-ї категорії Шуй Цзі Тань - передова медична установа міста. За підсумками семінару було декларовано поглиблення співдружності і співпраці між організаціями і країнами.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to meet the Yang Huanming the Chairman and co-founder of the Beijing Genomics Institute in the our Lab. We have discussed the opportunity of collaboration and it seems, that in the nearest future we could start to work on the Ukrainian reference geonome and 1000 Ukrainian genomes project together with other important projects, which could be helpfull as for Ukrainian citizens as for the whole World. Let's make this world better together!
