Україна на Міжнародному конгресі "М.К.Чюрльоніс 150: відкриття та інтерпретації".
Заступниця директора Інституту культурології НАМ України, докторка мистецтвознавства, професорка, членкиня-кореспондентка Національна академія мистецтв України Олена Берегова Olena Beregova представила Україну на Міжнародному Науковому Конгресі з нагоди 150-річчя від дня народження видатного литовського композитора і художника Мікалоюса Константінаса Чюрльоніса, що проходив 16-18 жовтня у Вільнюсі. У презентації під назвою "Музика кольору" М.К.Чюрльоніса та українська музична культура ХХ-ХХІ століть" спікерка від України проводила паралелі між творчістю М.К.Чюрльоніса та українських композиторів Стефанії Туркевич-Лукіянович, Юрія Шамо, Лесі Дичко, котрі також мали синестезійне мислення і хист до образотворчого мистецтва. О.Берегова наголошувала на спільних для українських і литовських митців тенденціях, зокрема, на їхньому прагненні поєднати здобутки національних культур з європейськими традиціями і спадщиною, спрямованості на синтез мистецтв, інтермедіальність, візуалізацію, символізм і філософське осмислення музики. У Конгресі взяли участь 50 вчених зі Швейцарії, Великої Британії, Німеччини, США, Польщі, Литви, Австрії, Нідерландів, Італії, Японії, Китаю, Іспанії, Канади та інших країн.
Ukraine at the International Congress “M.K. Čiurlionis 150: Unveilings and Interpretations.”
Deputy Director of the Institute for Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Dr.hab. (Musicology), Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Olena Berehova represented Ukraine at the International Scientific Congress on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Lithuanian composer and artist Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, which took place on October 16-18 in Vilnius. In her presentation entitled “The Music of Color by M.K. Čiurlionis and Ukrainian Musical Culture of the 20th-21st Centuries,” the speaker from Ukraine drew parallels between the work of M.K. Čiurlionis and Ukrainian composers Stefania Turkevych-Lukiianovych, Yurii Shamo, and Lesia Dychko, who also had synesthetic thinking and a talent for the visual arts. O.Berehova emphasized the trends common to Ukrainian and Lithuanian artists, in particular, their desire to combine the achievements of national cultures with European traditions and heritage, their focus on the synthesis of the arts, intermediality, visualization, symbolism, and philosophical understanding of music. The Congress was attended by 50 scholars from Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, the United States, Poland, Lithuania, Austria, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan, China, Spain, Canada, and other countries.
