The Immortal Soul...
Sometimes we fear death because we think we will disappear with our last breath.
But can something that is not made of matter disappear?
The soul is not a body or a mind.
It is the soul of God, a spark of light that cannot be destroyed by time, pain or death.
All scriptures contain the same threads of truth.
The Bible says: “Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it” (Ecclesiastes 12:7).
The Quran says: “God takes the souls at the time of death, and those whose time has not yet come, in their sleep; and those for whom death is decreed He keeps” (Surah 39:42).
Even Buddhism, which denies a permanent "personal" soul, speaks of a continuum of consciousness, that life is a flow that passes from one form to another, from one state to another.
Each faith has its own interpretation, but they all recognize one thing:
There is something within a person that transcends the body.
Something that remembers, feels, and knows - beyond words, bodies, and names.
Perhaps that is why we sometimes feel an inexplicable connection to someone we have never known, or a longing for places we have never been.
For the soul is an eternal wanderer.
It passes through times, bodies, and destinies to learn to love, to forgive, to believe, and to return to the light again.
And one day, leaving behind everything earthly, he will return to where he came from - to a home where there is no pain and fear,
where he will be known by the light.

Everything passes, except what is lived with the soul.
