🌍 *Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 in Rome — a Step Towards Green Industrial Transformation*
On July 10–11 in Rome, Natalia Korol, representative of Perechyn Timber-Chemical Plant LLC, participated in the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025.
Over the course of two days, we held a number of productive meetings with investors, experts, and international partners — all united by a common vision: the development of green technologies, waste valorization, and sustainable use of critical materials.
💡 Our main focus was presenting an innovative project for the implementation of pyrolysis and activation equipment for carbon materials derived from biomass waste. This solution transforms local raw materials — wood and agricultural residues — into biochar, a high-value functional product with strong environmental potential.
Biochar applications include:
• CO₂-neutral fuel for industry,
• soil enhancer for sustainable agriculture,
• remediation of heavy-metal-contaminated soils.
🌱 We also showcased our company’s participation in the EU-funded project QUEEN – Quartz Enrichment for an Almost Carbon-Free Silicon Production (Grant No. 101178144), coordinated by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
The goal: to reduce the EU’s dependence on imported metallurgical silicon by utilizing local quartz resources and clean technologies.
🤝 We were honored to join thematic sessions and B2B meetings focused on industrial defossilization, energy security, and critical mineral investment.
Perechyn Timber-Chemical Plant LLC remains a sector leader in Ukraine and a driver of innovative, sustainable transformation across the European Union.
Each new partnership reinforces Ukraine’s role as a key contributor to Europe’s green industrial future.
