Used zeolite is not waste. It is a resource that needs 4–5 hours and a BRZ unit.
A week ago, we talked about the CMM-260C, which continuously dries transformer oil directly inside the transformer. The logical question is: what should be done with sorbent cartridges once they become saturated with moisture?
That is exactly what the BRZ is for.
The BRZ unit restores zeolite after it has completed its task. It is suitable not only for CMM-260C cartridges, but also for any compatible adsorber system.
5 liters of water are poured into the sorbent cartridge to prevent the zeolite from igniting. Then cold air blows through the cartridge for 30 minutes, washing water and oil into the separator. After that, the heater gradually raises the temperature to 150 °C and then to 250–300 °C for complete moisture removal and restoration of adsorption properties. Finally, the vacuum pump removes the remaining v***r. After complete cooling (approximately 12 hours), the zeolite cartridge is ready for operation again.
💨 Capacity: 144 m³/h
⚡ Power: 16.5 kW
⏱️ Regeneration cycle: 4–5 hours + cooling time
There is no need to buy new zeolite after every cycle. Closed loop: the CMM-260C dries the oil, while the BRZ restores the sorbent.

4 days, hundreds of meetings, and new cooperation prospects - IEEE PES T&D 2026 has come to an end ⚡
For GlobeCore, these were intense days filled with negotiations, technical discussions, and meetings with clients and partners from the USA, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Ecuador, Thailand, and many other countries.
Notably, the CMM-2,2LT unit that was planned for demonstration at the exhibition was sold even before the event began.
According to the team, this was one of the most productive exhibitions in terms of contacts, agreements, and new cooperation opportunities. The workload for the coming months is already secured.
IEEE PES T&D once again confirmed that the energy sector continues to develop actively, while the demand for modern transformer maintenance solutions is growing worldwide. We are in the US market for the long term 💪
Thank you to everyone who visited the GlobeCore booth. See you again at future events!

Moisture inside a transformer is not a maintenance issue - it is a physics issue. Water forms inside the transformer regardless of its sealing. This process is inevitable. The only question is whether you control it, or it controls you.
The CMM-260C connects directly to the transformer oil system and operates continuously. The oil passes through three sorbent cartridges - it comes out dry and returns back into the system. And it can work like this 24/7 for months. The cyclic process removes moisture not only from the oil, but also from the solid insulation - where most solutions simply cannot reach.
💧 Water absorption capacity: up to 9 L.
⚙️ Sorbent: zeolite (or another type upon request).
⚡ Capacity: 30 L/h.
🔌 Any oil-filled transformer, permanent or temporary connection.
If your transformer is more than 15 years old, it almost certainly needs drying right now.

Standard laboratory oil analysis takes at least one day and requires human and financial resources.
The GlobeCore TOR-1 analyzer changes the approach to field diagnostics. The device determines the mass fraction of dissolved water in insulating mineral oils and does so in just 3–10 minutes directly next to the transformer.
What it includes:
- LCD display for moisture content indication
- Moisture sensor
- Printer for printing results
TOR-1 is a reliable reference tool for rapid moisture detection, enabling quick decision-making when there is no access to a PC. Final confirmation can always be obtained from a certified laboratory.
Less downtime. More control. Efficient diagnostics exactly where it is needed - right next to the equipment.

Do you outsource oil treatment? Have you calculated how much it costs per year?
The CMM-0.6 handles the full cycle in-house - degassing, drying, filtration, heating, and pumping. Capacity is 0.6 m³/h.
The design is intentionally simple: vacuum column, ceramic heater, pump group, and filter block with replaceable cartridges. Fewer components mean fewer failures. Maintenance is handled by your own staff - no external service teams required.
Results:
⚡ Breakdown voltage ≥ 60 kV
⚡ Moisture ≤ 10 ppm
⚡ Gas content ≤ 0.1%
Standard power supply. Standard doorway. Minimal maintenance.
CMM-0.6 pays for itself faster than it seems.

When oil or fuel is no longer “slightly wet” but actually a 50/50 mixture, most systems simply fail.
The CMM-1.0CF unit is specifically designed to handle heavily water-contaminated media with up to 50% water content. This makes it possible to solve tasks that standard equipment cannot handle.
How does it work? Using coagulation, water forms droplets while passing through a special filter and is easily separated in a settling tank. Simple, efficient, and reliable.
CMM-1.0CF is suitable for:
⚙️ dehydration of transformer, silicone, and turbine oils;
⛽ treatment of diesel fuel, gasoline, and kerosene;
💧 separation of water-oil emulsions;
🚛 mobile use without complex infrastructure;
Compactness, mobility, and high efficiency — exactly what modern equipment service needs.

The low-frequency heating method (LFD) delivers the best results not on its own, but when combined with thermo-vacuum oil drying and purification units such as CMM. This combination enables faster and deeper drying of oil-filled transformers.
How does it work? The LFD unit supplies the transformer windings with a low-frequency current of around 1 Hz instead of the standard 50–60 Hz. As a result, the windings are heated from the inside to the required drying temperature, typically between +75 and +120 °C. Since the heat source is the winding itself rather than an external heater, moisture is removed from the depth of the paper insulation much faster and more effectively.
However, heating alone is not enough — moisture migrates from the insulation into the transformer oil and must be removed. This is where CMM-type equipment comes in. The unit continuously circulates the oil: it is extracted from the transformer, treated under vacuum to remove water, gases, and contaminants, and then returned clean and dry.
As a result, two processes occur simultaneously:
🔥 the windings heat up and release moisture
💧 the oil immediately absorbs this moisture and is purified
This approach allows you to:
⚙️ dry solid insulation without dismantling the windings
📉 reduce insulation moisture to a safe level
⚡ increase the dielectric strength of the transformer
⏳ extend equipment service life by at least 10 years
LFD + CMM is a technically sound solution for drying both new and in-service oil-filled power transformers: fast, safe, and highly efficient.
