1977 heralded a change in names; on 13
th June, Stirling Astaldi Limited changed its name to Stirling International Civil Engineering Limited (SICEL); on 6th July Stirling Astaldi Construction UK Limited changed its name to Stirling Civil Engineering Limited (SCEL).
