Championing Uganda’s 2025 Green Push: Building Sustainably for a Thriving Future!
Uganda is taking bold steps toward a cleaner, greener future, from the National Green Taxonomy that defines eco-friendly practices, to the Waste to Wealth program transforming garbage into resources, and the Environment Parliament giving communities a stronger voice on conservation and pollution control. At Brick by Brick Construction Company Ltd, we are proud to be part of this movement by using smart, sustainable technologies that perfectly fit Uganda’s climate and environmental goals.
1. Interlocking Stabilized Soil Bricks (ISSB) – Crafted from local soil and a small amount of cement, these bricks are air-cured (not fired), meaning no firewood, no smoke, and no deforestation. They’re durable, cost-effective, and offer excellent thermal insulation for homes built to last.
2. Light Gauge Steel Framing – A recyclable, lightweight, and energy-efficient alternative to traditional timber. It speeds up construction, reduces material waste, and lowers carbon emissions while delivering sleek, modern designs.
3. Bottle Recycling & Eco-Bricks – We creatively reuse discarded plastic bottles, filling them with compacted waste to form strong “eco-bricks.” Perfect for benches, garden walls, and community projects—this approach helps tackle plastic pollution and supports Uganda’s circular economy.
Together, these innovations help reduce waste, lower energy costs, and preserve our natural environment for generations to come.
