Brick by Brick Construction is a social enterprise whose mission is to support economic development for our community by providing reliable, environmentally sustainable, and high quality construction services to our clients. Our construction uses Interlocking Stabilized Soil Bricks (ISSBs) as a sustainable alternative to conventional clay bricks. The ISSBs are manufactured on site, lowering transp

ortation costs, and do not require a wood firing process, reducing environmental impact. In addition to our sustainable technology, we provide quality jobs and training for our staff and local community members while re-investing all of our profits in the community-based programs of our parent organization Brick by Brick Uganda. Our programs foster partnerships with rural communities that promote sustainable development by improving education, providing access to safe water and sanitation, and supporting quality health care facilities. We’re excited to announce that we’ve completed the Project Hope Uganda Business Center in Kiko; ForPortal-Kamwenge Road

This center will soon become home for vocational graduates,giving them both a place to live and a space to start practicing their trades. Imagine walking into a vibrant hair salon, pharmacy, soap-making workshop,and tailoring business, all run by young people starting their first step into entrepreneurship!

Our team handled both the design and construction, using Interlocking Stabilized Soil Blocks (ISSBs). We’re grateful for the partnership with Project Hope Uganda and can’t wait to see this space bustling with activity and opportunity
