Crew Leader: $16/hr
Job description: staging jobs with materials, project management, account management, conducting daily reports, responsible for crew performance. The crew leader does have to work with the team unless the upper management directs him or her otherwise.
Required:
- 5+ years experience in landscape/construction
- 2+ years in management experience
- Leadership skills
- Must have a valid Texas license
- Must be coachable and follow direct orders from upper level management.
Equipment Operator: $14/hr
Job description:
Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders. Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing. ... Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality. Provide assistance to general labor era in their assigned responsibilities.
Required:
- 5+ years experience in heavy machinery operating
- Basic mechanic skills
- Must have knowledge in reading and executing specific grades.
- Must be able to follow directions from superiors.
- Must have customer service skills
- Must work well around others
Note: “Operator” does include working with hand tools. The upgrade in pay is for the equipment skills. The whole crew is to work together to complete each project.
Laborer: $10/hr (need 2 hands)
Job description: Physical labor on construction sites. They may prepare sites by cleaning them, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards. In some cases will be required to conduct simple light duty machinery operations.
Required:
- General labor knowledge
- Must work well around others
- Must be able to lift heavy objects throughout a full work day.
- Must follow directions from superiors.
A crew needs to work well together and share ideas with one another. There are levels to these jobs but one persons opinion is not better than another. The crew leader is to collaborate with the crew members to ensure the best outcome for the customer and project. No cutting corners.
