Acton Spring Nature Walk! 🌿🐠🦋🥀. Join AB STEAM Wednesday, May 13*, 2:30-4pm at Pratts Brook Conservation Area to explore nature.

The walk will be led by Ian Bergemann from the Town of Acton Conservation Division and a volunteer from Acton Conservation Trust. FUN for ALL ages! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

What an incredible evening at Family Math Night! 🧮✨

AB STEAM was thrilled to host our annual Family Math Night at the Sargent Memorial Library, bringing together families, students, and volunteers from across the community for an evening full of fun, curiosity, and problem-solving.

Children and parents explored a variety of hands-on math games and puzzles that showed how math can be playful, creative, and engaging for all ages. From logic challenges to collaborative games, it was wonderful to see families working together, thinking critically, and celebrating those exciting “aha!” moments.

A big thank you to our amazing student and adult volunteers who helped run the activity stations and made the event so welcoming and interactive. We are also grateful to the Sargent Memorial Library for hosting us and supporting community learning.

Events like these remind us that when families learn together, math becomes less about worksheets and more about curiosity, confidence, and connection.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we loved seeing the joy of math come alive in our community! 💙

Please join us on the evening of Thursday, March 12 from 5:30-7:30 for AB STEAM's annual Family Math Game Night at Sargent Memorial Library - we will have math games for all ages. This event is FREE for the community.

We need both student and adult volunteers, so if you would like to help, please use the QR code on the flyer to sign up.

Fun for all ages, we will have giveaways and light refreshments. Hope to see you there!
