Woods Dirt Contractors is looking for a hard-working, no-nonsense Mining Foreman who knows how to move dirt and rock lead a crew and keep production rolling. 💪

This isn't a desk job. We need someone who can lead from the front, solve problems, and get the job done safely and right.

🔧 What You'll Do
👷 Lead daily mining, excavation, and earthmoving operations.
🚜 Keep equipment operators, laborers, and truck drivers moving.
💪 Jump in and operate equipment when needed.
📈 Track production and keep the job on schedule.
🛠️ Inspect equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
🦺 Enforce safety rules and run daily toolbox talks.
📐 Read site plans, grades, and mining layouts.
🤝 Work with management, customers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
📝 Keep accurate records of hours, loads, materials, and equipment.
🎯 Train the crew, set expectations, and hold people accountable.
⛏️ What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading mining, excavation, or heavy civil crews.
Strong knowledge of dozers, excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and related equipment.
A hands-on leader who isn't going to sit in the pickup all day.
Solid understanding of grades, drainage, production, and jobsite safety.
Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and changing schedules when the job demands it.
MSHA experience or certification is strongly preferred.
CDL and equipment maintenance experience are a plus.

The most important jobs are almost always the least glamorous.

Most mornings, the boys are up before the sun, hustling to get to the rock and sand that is in just about everything you touch.

But hundreds of millions of people take them for granted. Almost nobody outside of the industry will give a thought about those materials or those miners all day long.

Woods Dirt Contractors is hiring experienced Articulated Haul Truck Drivers for projects in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Paducah Kentucky.

Can you handle rough terrain, move serious material, and keep the job rolling safely? Climb into the driver's seat and join our crew!

What You'll Do:
Operate articulated haul trucks on active earthwork sites
Haul dirt, rock, gravel, and other materials
Navigate rough terrain safely and efficiently
Inspect equipment before and after each shift
Work closely with operators, spotters, and supervisors
Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
What We're Looking For
Articulated haul truck or heavy-equipment experience preferred
A strong commitment to safety
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
Ability to work outdoors in changing conditions
Availability for overtime and weekends when needed
Ability to meet company safety and drug-screening requirements
