Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife, Mrs. WMD. ❤️

Sometimes the coolest projects are the ones you make for someone you love.

For our anniversary I made her a little desk piece. 2” diameter and packed with some seriously fine details. It was a fun little project and a good excuse to push the machine a little and see just how much fine detail I could get out of it.

I spend a lot of my time making parts and prototypes for other people, so it was pretty special to put the machines to work on something with a little extra meaning behind it.

We built this bending jig a little while back, and just got some glamor shots of it earning its keep! Here’s Armada Roofing And Remodeling putting it to work. Doing some fine hand-crafted work with a little help from some custom-made tools.
Honestly, these are my favorite kinds of photos. A part can look great fresh off the machine, but it doesn’t mean anything until it’s actually being used. Plus, a little patina never hurt the vibes. Proud to be building tools for people who do great work.
