So today we are back at our two bedroom cottage and we are putting on the hardy board and batton siding is looking beautiful as you can see here we’ve got one and a half inch strips. We’ve gotten one by four trim around the windows and doors and we’ve got one by six for our eaves. Soffits are also Hardy and the facial will be hardy, but this looks beautiful. We are also giving a sneak peek of our breezeway, which connects both of the homes, which looks absolutely beautiful. Check out the progress that we are making on our 20 foot wide by 14 foot long she shed this has been framed on a 4 inch concrete pad with approved footings two rows of rebar anchor bolts. The walls are 2 x 4 studs with a double top plate rafters are made out of 2 x 6 and ceiling joist are 2 x 8 exterior and roof is half an inch plywood sheeting with matching architectural shingles and of course synthetic underlayment. We just broke ground on our new project!. We are working on a room addition which will roughly be 20ft by 20ft. This room addition will be framed with a 2x4 treated sill plate attached to a 4” inch concrete pad with approved footings with 1/2” inch rebar and anchor bolts and a retaining wall, walls will be 2x4 studs, and double top plate, 2x6 rafters, 2x8 ceiling joist, 1/2” inch plywood sheathing for walls and roof, roofing underlayment matching shingles, insulation, drywall, lvp flooring, new bathroom, and hvac the works and guess what all of this for 35% discount below normal pricing that’s PGC. Today we began the process of installing Hardy Board and Batton on our 2 Bedroom Cottage. We are using 4x10 sheets of Hardy , with 1x4 trim around windows and doors, 1 and 1/2” inch strips, 1x6 for fascia and eves, 1x6 freeze boards, all Hardy Board. This is a little more costly than vinyl or wood but adds significant value to a home 🏡 and it is fire resistant. Great 😊 for safety of your most precious cargo.
