Robert Collins Company Clearing Division Begins Work at Future Barnwell County High School Site
BARNWELL, S.C. - Robert Collins Company’s Clearing Division is underway on a 50-acre land clearing project along Highway 37, just outside the Barnwell city limits, where the new Barnwell County High School is set to be built.
For our team, this project hits close to home. Being part of a project right here in Barnwell, especially one that will help serve students, families, and the future of the county, carries a little extra meaning.
Led by Clearing Division Manager John Bell, crews are clearing and grinding the entire site in preparation for construction. The operation includes cutters bringing timber down, skidders moving logs across the site, excavators feeding grinders, dozers root raking, and trucks hauling material off site.
It is a full-scale clearing operation, and it takes a tough, experienced crew to keep it moving safely and efficiently.
A big shoutout goes to the men in the field who make this work happen every day. These guys take pride in what they do. They are tough, passionate about their work, and they understand the importance of preparing this site the right way for something that will serve Barnwell County for generations to come.
