Aiken born/ raised, helping homeowners with all of their roofing & construction needs! After 15 years of climbing roofs, dodging tornadoes, surviving hail storms, and chasing hurricanes, I’ve learned a few things. Like how to spot a leak before the water even thinks about leaking. Or the complicated process of insurance claims. Or how to measure a roof faster than a tornado can flatten a barn. Bu
t mostly, I’ve learned that you really can’t trust the weather app—especially when you’re about to climb your 1,000th roof of the year in the middle of a derecho. I started out working for the largest insurance roofing inspector, traveling all over (working for the top 50 insurance carriers), getting up close and personal with every roof imaginable. It was like being a professional treasure hunter, except instead of gold, I was searching for leaks and storm damage. Whether it was battling the fierce winds of a hurricane, dodging flying debris during a tornado, or just trying to figure out if the “new roof” you’re inspecting was built after the Civil War, I was always there in the middle of the roofing and insurance process
And I wasn't alone. Oh no. I led entire teams across five states of the Mid-Atlantic and traveling to the major storm events, (too many hurricanes to mention), coordinating 100's of inspectors, like a general in the roofing army. We were on the frontlines, getting down and dirty with shingles, flashing, and the occasional startled squirrel who had mistaken our ladders for a new home. But what really got me through those storm-chasing years was the camaraderie. You build relationships with roofing companies, insurance carriers, and a whole lot of folks who are just as passionate about their craft. But after all that traveling and climbing——I realized something. As much as I loved working these storms, I wanted to bring all that knowledge back home to Aiken, SC. So, after years of scaling roofs from coast to coast, I decided it was time to start my own roofing company. I could still dodge the hurricanes and storm damage, but now I’d be doing it for my hometown of Aiken SC and Augusta, GA area. And yes, I still climb a ton of roofs. My team and I make sure every roof in the area is in tip-top shape, ready for whatever mother nature throws at it—whether that’s a gust of wind, a torrential downpour, or a tornado that insists on rearranging your shingles, or the never ending hail storms that roll through. But now, when I step off the ladder, I don’t just hear the wind or the rush of traffic in the distance—I hear the sound of home. And there's no storm too strong to shake that feeling. So, here I am—15 years of experience under my belt, thousands of roofs climbed, traveling from coast to coast, countless storms survived, and now a business in my own backyard. If you need me, just look up—I'll be the guy on your roof with 15 years of wisdom and a whole lot of ladders, stories to tell about roofing, insurance claims, and construction experience than 99.9% of the market- Call us --Check us out at www.AikenRoofingPlus.com and thanks--Tony
