We design and build floating docks, Wave Armor dock systems, boat and PWC ports, kayak launches and custom waterfront access systems for homeowners, businesses, communities and public agencies. AquaLife Construction is an Ohio water-access specialist designing and building durable, low-maintenance waterfront systems for homeowners, businesses, marinas, HOAs, communities, parks and public agencies.

Our work includes Wave Armor floating dock systems, custom floating and fixed docks, boat and PWC ports, kayak launches, gangways, waterfront renovations and select shoreline solutions. Every lake, pond, river and shoreline presents different conditions. We design each system around the property, water depth, bottom conditions, changing water levels, ice movement and how the waterfront will actually be used. Using trusted products such as Wave Armor and WearDeck structural composite framing, we create systems built for lasting performance with less maintenance and less hassle. From initial planning and product selection through professional installation and long-term support, our team helps customers make informed decisions and build waterfronts that are ready when they are. 🎣 A new Northeast Ohio kayak fishing tournament is helping create better access to the water—and that is worth sharing.

Kayak Anglers of Northeast Ohio, in partnership with Stark Parks, is hosting a charity kayak fishing tournament at Deer Creek Reservoir on Saturday, August 29. Proceeds will help support a kayak vending machine at the reservoir.

Tournament details:
📅 Saturday, August 29, 2026
⏰ 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
📍 Deer Creek Reservoir
14514 Price Street NE, Alliance, Ohio
🎟️ $25 per kayak
👥 Open to youth ages 8+ and adults
🥤 Food and drinks available—bring cash

Participants should bring their own kayak, fishing pole and equipment. Stark Parks will also have a limited number of solo and tandem kayaks available on a first-come, first-served basis that morning.
Before heading out:

• Anglers age 16 and older need a valid Ohio fishing license. Licenses are not sold at Stark Parks marinas, so purchase yours beforehand.

• Bring and wear a properly sized, Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Kayak Anglers’ standard rules also require a whistle and light.

• Review the event-specific rules when registering. Requirements involving TourneyX, measuring boards and motorized kayaks may apply.

• Charge your phone and consider carrying a waterproof backup power source.

Deer Creek is a 334-acre reservoir surrounded by nearly 1,000 acres of forest. Supporting this tournament means more than creating a good day of fishing—it helps expand opportunities for people to access and enjoy the water.

As we celebrate America's Independence Day, all of us at AquaLife Dock Shop & AquaLife Construction would like to wish you, your family, and friends a safe and Happy 4th of July!

Please note that our offices and showroom will be closed Friday, July 3rd, in observance of the holiday, so our team can enjoy the weekend with their families.
