Update: Well friends… Mother Nature is keeping us on our toes today.
Because of weather conditions, we’re unable to safely display the flag at this time. We had to safely dismantle her and take Old Glory home 🇺🇸. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Barberton is kicking off a once‑in‑a‑lifetime celebration!

As America prepares to honor 250 years, our own beloved Barberton proudly celebrates 135 years of history, community, and Magic City spirit. To make 2026 a year we’ll never forget, the city has brought together a dedicated committee of passionate residents, leaders, and visionaries, each committed to honoring our past while dreaming boldly for our future.

Rick and Lisa Devenport, along with Ricks Crane Service LLC, are proudly helping the City showcase patriotism in a truly memorable way. Today, they are displaying a striking 20' x 30' American flag from one of their cranes on the side of the Municipal Building. It’s a powerful and fitting start to what will be an unforgettable year, and this is only the beginning. From meaningful tributes to exciting events and creative community projects, the ideas taking shape are truly inspiring.

Stay tuned… the celebration of America 250 and 135 years of Barberton is officially underway, and we can’t wait to share everything that’s in store! 💜
