Production volume + part mix: 2 key metrics that influence laser power source.

-Cutting 2 – 4 mm? A 3- or 6-kW laser offers excellent quality and speed.
-Need to cut up to 25 mm? A 12-kW laser is usually a good choice.
-Have higher production volumes? Or need to produce parts faster, a higher-power laser – 12 kW or even 20 kW – will give you the advantage of speed for productivity.

There are no hard rules. The right laser power is an individual choice that balances production needs and cost.

LVD flat sheet and tube laser cutting machines are offered in 3 to 30 kW power levels.
