The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated, hardworking individual to join our Birmingham team as a **Court Surfacing Technician**.
No prior experience is required , we train from the ground up. What we’re looking for is someone who shows up, works hard, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow with a company that will invest in them.

What You'll Do* Prepare and resurface tennis, pickleball, basketball, and multi-sport courts
* Apply court surfacing coatings, crack repair systems, and court paint/striping
* Operate hand tools and job-site equipment
* Work alongside a skilled crew in a fast-paced outdoor environment
* Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site at all times
* Help ensure projects are completed with the quality and professionalism CORTZ is known for
Work Environment
* Work is **primarily outdoors** and physically active
* Projects take place at schools, parks, sports facilities, and clubs
* Typical schedule is **Monday–Friday**, with occasional weekend work depending on project timelines
* Some projects may involve **travel within the region**

What We're Looking For
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Ability to lift **50+ lbs** and stay active throughout the day
* Valid driver's license preferred
* Prior construction, painting, or labor experience is a plus but **not required**
* Positive attitude and a **team first mentality**
