🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This month is personal for so many families, friends, coworkers, and loved ones.

At Menadier Engineering, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible strength of those currently fighting breast cancer, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand beside everyone whose life has been touched by this disease.

Sometimes support is as simple as checking in, showing up, encouraging someone to schedule that appointment, or reminding the people we care about that they are not alone.

We wear pink this month in honor of every story, every fight, and every person affected. 💗

You know you work in engineering when you can’t just drive past a new development like a normal person. 😂

Everyone else:
“Wow, that looks nice!”

Engineers, silently talking to themselves:

👀 “Okayyy... that grading looks pretty good.”

“Nice curb return.”

“Stormwater pond looks clean.”

“Wonder where they tied into the utilities?”

“Hmm... that slope though.”

“Why did they put THAT there?”

“Actually... drainage looks solid.”

“Wait. Is that supposed to drain that way?”

😂😂😂

Meanwhile, everyone else in the car has absolutely no idea you just completed an entire unofficial site review from the passenger seat.

Once you work in engineering, apparently you can never just look at a road, ditch, parking lot, pond, or construction site normally again.
