Building connections with the next generation of engineers!

On August 20, Jones Edmunds Executive Director – Project Delivery Brian Icerman visited the University of Central Florida to speak with students about consulting engineering, engineering design, ethics, and building an impactful career.

But our connection to the next generation goes beyond the classroom.

Jones Edmunds also provides ongoing support for university research, helping advance technical knowledge, foster innovation, and give students and faculty opportunities to explore solutions to real-world engineering challenges.

From sharing real-world experience in the classroom to supporting university research, we’re proud to invest in the people, ideas, and innovation shaping what’s next for engineering.

Celebrating 25 Years with George Reinhart!

Congratulations to George Reinhart on an incredible 25 years with Jones Edmunds!

As a Senior Engineer in our Solid Waste Department, George has spent the past two and a half decades helping communities across Florida plan, design, permit, and construct critical solid waste infrastructure. His extensive expertise spans landfill design and permitting, construction quality assurance, gas and leachate collection systems, and bioreactor landfill design.

Throughout his career, George has taken on significant technical and project leadership responsibilities. He has served as Engineer of Record and Geosynthetics CQA Officer for the last three landfill expansion projects at the North Central Landfill, along with numerous other projects throughout Florida. His work continues with the Phase IV Landfill Expansion Area, where he is providing key engineering and permitting leadership for this important next phase.

“George is a dedicated engineer,” said Department Manager Carol Sawyer. “Dedicated to his clients, his colleagues, and to finding solutions to challenging problems. We are fortunate to have his experience, leadership, and commitment to our team!”

George’s 25-year career reflects the technical knowledge, dedication, and commitment to quality that make a lasting impact on our clients, projects, and communities.

Congratulations, George, and thank you for 25 years of service and contributions to Jones Edmunds!
