A couple of notes. First, I'm proud to say this will be my 42nd year at Po***ck Heating and Cooling, and my 20th as owner. God willing I have many more to go! I've heard from a few there's a rumor I had sold the business, but nothing could be farther from the truth. As a matter of fact I've been in the trenches more this year than in the past decade. So, if you call for service you have a pretty good chance of seeing "the boss'. Second, we have made the decision to focus on using American made parts every time the option is available. What does that mean? Hopefully a better quality, longer lasting part. A little less profit for us, but in the end you have to take a stand, and we are doing it now! Hopefully I'll see you all under social circumstances and not at work, but just know we are here to keep you comfortable. We includes me.

Keep your friendly a/c techs and installers in your thoughts. Attics at 3:30 and 12 hour days are the schedule for the months to come. We are trying to keep all those plates spinning and everyone cool! Have a great 4th!

The job will include customer service, bidding replacement jobs, and problem solving on the service side of the business. There will be opportunity for advancement (and maybe ownership in the future) for the right person. We are doing everything we can to eliminate contact and keep our customers and employees safe. Our team has masks, gloves and sanitizer and we are using it as needed to eliminate any transfer of material from one home/customer to the next. WE WILL BE THERE FOR YOU, but we are adding a few new policies. Although inconvenient we feel they are needed at this time.

We are not entering homes during service calls unless absolutely necessary.

If we have to enter your home (in the case of repair or replacement) we are asking that you isolate yourself from the technicians. Maintain distancing please.

Everyone on my crew has been with me for a LONG time. They are not only employees, they are family. I TRUST them in my home and yours. Rest assured we at Po***ck would never ask you to trust us if we didn't have absolute faith in our ability to keep you safe and your home secure.

Times are hard but we will get through this together. Keep your distance and let's look towards better days.

How about a feel good story this fine friday? I heard my guys talking among themselves before Christmas about getting gifts. Hearing bits and pieces over a few mornings I decided to inquire as I knew neither had young children.
It seems they repaired a unit at an apartment. They tell me there was VERY little funiture and the young girl had two young children. It looked bleak for Christmas.
My guys took it upon themselves to go out and buy gifts for those kids with no prompting or assistance from anyone. They said those kids had a great holiday and the mom was speechless.
I'm very proud to be associated and employ people that truly care.
