When searching for a reliable contractor, due diligence is vital. Verify the contractor's credentials on the CCB website, assess their industry experience, and ensure they have received hands-on training under the supervision of a master teacher. While acquiring a contractor's license is relatively straightforward, it is no guarantee of competence. To further mitigate risks, request references and contact them to confirm the quality of work. Unfortunately, we have encountered numerous instances of subpar work, highlighting the importance of thorough research. It is also crucial to recognize that cheaper alternatives do not necessarily provide better value, as expertise and experience in the construction field come at a cost.
