We’re incredibly proud to share that Omann Brothers Inc. is featured on the cover of the September 2026 issue of AsphaltPro Magazine! 📖🔥
From our trucks on the road to the crews out in the field, our team works hard every day to deliver quality asphalt work for our customers. But behind every load of asphalt is a lot more than just trucks and equipment — it’s people, technology, experience, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Our asphalt plant is featured prominently on the cover of this month’s magazine as part of a story highlighting how modern technology is helping asphalt producers improve their operations while continuing to produce quality material.
Seeing the Omann name and our plant on the cover of a national industry publication is something we’re extremely proud of. It’s a great recognition of the hard work our entire team puts in, not just this year, but over the 50 years of building Omann Brothers into the company it is today.

🚧 Another road in the books! 🚧

Yesterday our crew had the opportunity to pave a section of Willow Drive for the City of Medina and it was a great team effort from everyone involved.

📍 Project Stats:
🛣️ 1.4 lane miles so a total of 2.8 miles paved
♨️ 2,290 tons of asphalt placed
🚛 22 trucks keeping the paver supplied
⬛ Approximately 120 dump truck loads delivered

Projects like this take careful planning, teamwork, and a lot of coordination to keep material moving and the paver running. A big thank you to our crew, truck drivers, plant personnel, and everyone who helped make it a successful day.

☀️ We've been getting a few phone calls recently with the extreme heat, so we wanted to share a few tips to help protect your new asphalt driveway.
New asphalt driveways can become soft and tender during periods of extreme heat—even a few months after they've been paved.
To help protect your new driveway and keep it looking its best:
• Avoid parking in the same spot for long periods on very hot days.
• Turn your steering wheel only while the vehicle is moving, not while sitting still, as this can scuff or twist the asphalt.
• If possible, ask delivery drivers to park on the street instead of your new driveway during extreme heat. • Avoid placing heavy items such as dumpsters or trailers on the driveway until it has had adequate time to cure.

How long should you be cautious?
Asphalt continues to cure for 6 to 12 months. While the first 30 days are the most critical, driveways can still soften during extreme summer heat even several months after paving. During very hot weather, it's best to limit heavy vehicles and avoid leaving vehicles parked in one spot any longer than necessary.
A little extra care now will help your driveway stay smooth, attractive, and last for many years.

As we head into Fourth of July weekend, we’re proud to honor and appreciate all those who have helped make this country great.

We’re also excited to celebrate the newest addition to our fleet which some have already gotten an early view of. This BOMAG Americas paver, finished with a custom USA wrap showcasing our pride in this country as we approach America’s 250th birthday.

More photos are coming soon as we put this machine to work laying asphalt in style. It’s a unique piece of equipment built to stand out but also built to get the job done right.

This year is extra special as we also celebrate 50 years of operating in the Minnesota region.

Here’s to freedom, craftsmanship, hard work, and representing the red, white, and blue. ❤️🤍💙🎉
